Domains

A domain is the XXX part of www.XXX.co.uk. Your domain should be linked to your business name or the product or service that you provide. Your domain name should be unique, domain names can be in the form .co.uk, .com, .net, .name and many more, no one can have exactly the same domain name at the same time as you.

Prices vary for domain names depending on the type. A .co.uk name is included with your website package but a .com domain will incur an additional charge of £10. As websites become more and more popular the variety of domain names is reduced so the only way to obtain a domain name is to come up with as many alternatives as you can think of then search to find out if they are available.

I will register and manage your domain name for you, however, if you do purchase your domain name personally please remember to make a note of all information provided to you at the point of registration.
